It's Detox Time!

Blogging – apparently this is something that a lot of people do – successfully!  But the question is – what is important enough in my life that YOU, would even care about?  The short answer is – nothing – I’m just a plain-Jane hard working Mama trying to make life work.  So - what do I already have going on in my life that I can tell you about without adding another task to my already full day?
My passion – aside from my family and my job (Music teacher!  Hello!  Sing and dance all day?  Yes please!!)  is fitness and nutrition.  Even though it’s my passion – I’m admittedly, not very consistent with it.  Especially as of late.

So – enter your personal “fad diet” tester!  I have so many “plans” that I want to follow – and need the motivation to actually stick with them, so what better place than a blog to document my journey and educate my reader at the same time!  Woohoo!  Win win – HOPEFULLY!

First up is Danette May’s 3 Day Detox. 


But before you head over and start spending money – there’s good news!  I’m going to test it for you!  Stick around and see how the 3-day detox works for me before you jump in!


Day 0 – PREP DAY
Time to hit the grocery store!  The list is long (and seems slightly random).  Thankfully I have several things already at home, so this will save me some cash.  The food for the next 3 days looks a little daunting….and pricy!

Today I spent time cutting, organizing, and getting everything ready to grab and go.  My life requires this type of organization – I don’t have time to actually make food in the morning before I run out the door, nor do I have any desire to wake up earlier than my already 5:30am wake up call to get things ready.


*Cutting up pineapple – the nectar of the gods – seriously – I started buying this recently and it’s the sweetest thing in my kitchen!  We can’t stop eating it!



Day 1: Pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch, and post lunch.  I’ll deal with dinner when I get home from work!


Body prep!  It’s time to weigh in, and measure to see the difference a few days can make!  I may not be able to see my results, so hopefully the numbers will speak for themselves.  Looking forward to tomorrow.  Kinda….
